Job Title: Depot Operations Program Manager (OPM) Job Code: 29040 Job Location: Clifton, NJ L3Harris Technologies is a leader in defense technology solutions, connecting space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains to support national security. The Operations Program Manager (OPM) will serve as the primary liaison between Depot Operations and the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring cost and schedule commitments are met while coordinating production actions across engineering, quality, supply chain, and finance functions. Essential Functions Act as the main conduit between the program office and Operations for development, production, and spares/repairs activities. Own technical, risk/opportunity, and schedule performance for all operations scope on the assigned program. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Contracts, Manufacturing, and other functions to promote effective action planning and execution. Contribute schedule inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and support change‑management processes. Monitor Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) performance, ensuring timely corrective actions. Plan and coordinate verification and validation of new processes and product improvements. Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations throughout development, certification, and production readiness. Ensure all Manufacturing and Production Readiness Reviews are completed on assigned programs. Facilitate manufacturing and quality participation in design development to address manufacturability and testability. Implement operating philosophies and business strategies across the organization. Develop and sustain success metrics, promote Lean initiatives, and drive cost savings. Manage performance and key deliverables across a matrix organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience; or 8 years related experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred Skills Experience leading a multi‑functional, technically oriented Integrated Product Team in an operations environment. Manufacturing and shop operations experience, with knowledge of operations planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to multi‑task, prioritize assignments, and manage resources. Proficiency with computer‑based project management tools for scheduling and cost monitoring. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic thinking and problem‑solving aptitude. Experience in identifying process constraints and developing improvement plans. Advanced MS Office skills (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing tools/methods knowledge. Strong interpersonal and coaching skills for cross‑functional collaboration. Experience with manufacturing processes, shop orders, bills of materials, routers, and drawings. Operations leadership and program management experience. Continuous process improvement / Lean Six Sigma experience. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management. ERP/MRP experience (supply & demand). PMP certification. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range (New Jersey): $75,000 – $139,000 (subject to experience and location).
