Ios Developer

We are seeking hands-on an iOS Developer who shares our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care. As a Developer on our team, you'll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech lead you will optimally complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
  • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle challenging demands.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs and ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Solid practical understanding of software development process; knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
  • Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Experience leading technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and documentation.
  • Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
  • Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and/or cultures.
  • Balancing work as a lead individual contributor with providing direction and mentoring to others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of developing and shipping mobile applications for iOS.
  • Demonstrated ability to write great code in Swift, SwiftUI UIKit and Combine framework.
  • Familiar with testing strategies for mobile applications.
  • Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments and create industry-leading mobile applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience evaluating multiple application architectures. For example, cross-platform vs native mobile.
  • Experience with Swift Concurrency or Kotlin coroutines.
  • Experience with SDK development.
  • WebKit customizations in iOS
  • Application distribution through TestFlight/App Store or Google Play
  • Experience and interest in UX design to create intuitive user experiences on mobile devices.
  • Enterprise application experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
  • Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
