Overview of your day-to-day Develop and edit technical documents including test plans, test procedures, operation manuals/user guides, proposals and technical orders Work closely with project/program managers and engineering staff to coordinate documentation review and obtain approval/release Provide support to/collaborate with other technical writers Perform reviews of Data Item Descriptions to ensure correct formatting and content within newly developed SDRLs and CDRLs Contribute to the continuous improvement of our documentation processes and templates Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices related to technical writing and documentation What makes you a great fit Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent Background in electronics, test, and mechanical assembly processes Experience using MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills, dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Considered a plus Candidates with at least 10 years of experience researching and creating technical documentation for military equipment will be given extra consideration. If you have experience developing and editing technical manuals for military or airborne equipment, including generating environmental, EMI, Acceptance test plans, procedures, and reports, it will be an added bonus!
