Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with AZ or compact licensure, charge nurse experience, and flexibility for night shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is based in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with flexibility required to work days, weekends, and holidays if needed
• May work up to 48 hours per week, typically 4x12 hour shifts
• Travelers may occasionally float to other qualified departments and may be required to take a patient load or perform task-oriented duties
• Orientation is held on Mondays only; missing compliance deadlines delays start
• Holiday coverage required for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's (RTO not permitted for these holidays)
• Maximum of 2 shift call-offs allowed during the contract
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
• Housing information is available upon request

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active AZ or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Certifications required: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Conscious Sedation certification required (can be obtained onsite for a fee)
• Must be highly flexible with shift assignments as needs may change
