\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend schedule requirement
\n• Holiday requirements apply
\n• 2:1 patient ratio in 26-bed Medical ICU unit
\n• Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients
\n• ICU experience required
\n• Float to other Medical-Surgical Units and Intensive Care Units as needed
\n• Work with ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, and glucometers
\n• Use iMobile phones and technology throughout facility
\n• PPE requirements include masks, face shields, goggles, PAPRs and hoods for COVID-19 patients
\n• Document using Meditech with EBCD (Evidence Based Clinical Documentation)
\n• Perform hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, and complete My Care Board during handoffs
\n• Use AIDET approach with focus on compassionate connected care
\n• Advanced skills needed: ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, cardiac/neuro/respiratory system proficiency
\n• Procedures performed: intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain management, IABP management, CRRT, patient proning
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (TNCC preferred)
\n• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs with optional white or ceil blue scrub jacket; green surgery scrubs provided for COVID patients
\n• Self-scheduling available within established guidelines
